You’re invited to the next Codilime Tech Talk!

This time, we get to hear CodiLime QA Project Manager, Krzysztof Turowski: Quo vAdis --the future of quality management not only for testers.

Agile, Scrum, DevOps--these are key words in today’s IT world, where, unfortunately, the word tester appears all too rarely. A long time ago, when dinosaurs walked the earth and everyone was using the waterfall methodology, the world of testers was simple, clean and clear. Documentation, requirements, milestones, test scenarios and various reports--they knew them all by heart. Then, a wheel called Agile was invented, accelerating the evolution of IT and pushing testers to the brink of extinction. How can testers now be saved, and taught to survive in the new era called DevOps transformation?

In his presentation, our colleague Krzysztof Turowski will take us on a journey through time, from the era of waterfall testing to showing us how quality is handled in agile projects and how it will be managed in the era of DevOps transformation. He will discuss the evolution of quality assurance, possible traps for agile teams and what taking responsibility for quality means in practice. We are living in a world where everyone should be responsible for quality. Yet, what does this mean in practice? How is the quality management paradigm changing? What are the challenges and traps for the testers of the future? Why is “good enough” better than “great”? Join us to find out all that and more.

Till then! :)
