We are an international pioneering technology leader that is writing the future of industrial digitalization. More than 10 years ago, our Information Systems Delivery Center in Krakow was built up. Last year it successfully merged into the newly created Global Business Services organization. This allows us to expand our global activities and support even further. To strengthen our Office 365 team, we are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with knowledge in Office 365 area and IT support processes. Seize this unique opportunity and grow together with the rapidly developing organization. Microsoft Office 365 is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that includes Microsoft Office and other services, such as email and collaboration, from Microsoft's cloud servers. Office 365 Subject Matter Expert role is part of the Global ABB O365 Operations and Support team. Its main purpose is to provide second-level support of Exchange Online and Skype for Business Online to ABB end users. The main tasks Office 365 SME is responsible for include:
  • Second level support for Incidents affecting Exchange Online and Skype for Business Online environment
  • Liaising with other ABB teams as well as Vendors if the Incident resolution requires it
  • Fulfillment of standard requests in Office 365 area
  • Day-to-day administration activities that ensure successful and uninterrupted Exchange Online & Skype for Business Online service operation
  • Documenting solutions to known problems and communicating them to Service Desk function
  • Updating Incident/Request records log on all stages of its life cycle
Requirements
  • Masters in technical discipline or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in End User support in Global Organization
  • Knowledge of the Office 365 platform
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Skype for Business (administration and support)
  • Good Microsoft Active Directory knowledge to resolve Office365 related issues
  • Experience with Microsoft Office package support (especially Microsoft Outlook and Skype for Business client)
  • At least basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL certification is a plus)
  • Fluent spoken and written English
