Position Overview
As a Test Engineer, you will be creating/executing test cases based on the test plan. Based on test results you will describe found defects in traceability systems, test fixes, and create test reports. You will also participate in the process of automation testing, including automated test design/fixing/execution and CI/CD environment design and maintenance. This role will be reporting directly to the test manager.
You are responsible for
- Creating test cases and test reports based on the test plan
- Creating, updating, maintaining and execution API and UX tests
- Creating, maintaining and improvement test automation
- Reviewing and retesting test failures and verification of fixes
- Reporting progress to the test manager
- Deployment of new environments and updating existing environments
- Participation in product planning and design
- Collaboration with all product development teams
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience as a test engineer (including 1-year experience in test automation)
- QA methodology knowledge (ISTQB Foundation)
- API Testing: JMeter, Postman, Swagger
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors (JIRA)
- Ability to write technical documentation (Confluence, Spike)
- Understanding Agile software development process
- Familiarity with different types of testing (regression, performance, E2E, FVT, )
- Excellent communication and strong organizational skills
- Good English communication skills (speaking and writing)
- Analytical mind, interested in new technologies and not afraid of new challenges
- Ability to work in a team
