DESCRIPTION
EPAM is currently building a new portfolio management application for a financial services / wealth management client. The system is expected to support thousands of concurrent requests, be responsive and scalable. The application will include financial algorithms, user interfaces, API integrations, and a services-oriented architecture. We are looking for Java Full Stack Lead Software Engineer, who will lead offshore development team working on various parts of the application: engine, model management, computation modules and integration to various internal data providers. The ideal candidate has both back-end and front-end hands on development experience, has recent experience leading other developers and QAs. He/She will work close with our onsite team and customer to design and implement the application, clarify customer requirements, collaborate with QA automation on testing strategy. The person should be able to organize development process, plan and distribute work between other developers (including front-end and back-end), and should be eager to engage in hands-on development. The team is focused on Java technology stack with Java 8, Spring 5, Spring Boot 2, Angular 6, Maven and REST API.PROJECT TECHNOLOGIES AND TOOLS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and deliver Java back-end and Angular front-end implementation
- Plan and organize the work of other engineers
- Work close with onsite Team lead
- Ensure data and algorithm integrity throughout the process
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with financial modeling applications & financial algorithms is a plus
- Being familiar with financial/investment terms, and basic capital market investment calculations knowledge is a plus
- Domain knowledge & experience from the financial services / wealth management is a plus
- Team player in cross functional team, good communicator, driven and committed
- Recent team leading experience of teams with at least 3 other engineers
- Experience with Spring Java technology stack including Java 8 stream API, Spring Boot, JMS, REST
- Experience with Apache JMeter is a plus
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
