Senior JavaScript Developer Place of work: Warszawa Job ID: Senior/Front/DEV/WAW/1116/CJ   You will be a good match if you:

• Have 4+ years of software development experience including working in agile teams
• Have very good knowledge of HTML/CSS & JavaScript and its modern frameworks (AngularJS, ReactJS, EmberJS, etc.)
• Are able to deliver both backend (e.g. using NodeJS) and frontend (or willing to become fullstack JS Developer)
• Have a good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB
• Have infrastructure knowledge including RESTful APIs, Single Sign On, LDAP, Search Technologies
• Have experience with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications and application security
• Have very good command of English
• Know German – it’s a plus
• Are able to travel and spend some time abroad (Berlin) at the beginning of the project

  As a part of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Using agile engineering practices and modern development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that delivers against the product as outlined by the Product Owner
• Collaboration with other agile team members to steer technology choices towards a leading edge setup that delivers against the longer term needs and vision from the Product Owner
• Identifying, suggesting and conducting technology enabled product experiments in collaboration with the Product Owner
• Providing technology expertise in discussions with stakeholders

  Right now we are building 4-5 scrum teams that are going to be responsible for development of software for one of the largest insurers in Germany. Our teams will be small, flexible and use agile and lean methods to design and deliver digital products and solutions. The main competence we are looking for is JavaScript (experience with NodeJS is a huge advantage) – we need real JS experts able to do various stuff with it – frontend, backend and automated tests. That’s not a problem if you didn’t do all that things before – if you are open minded and ready for working hard to become fullstack JS Developer, then you’re a good fit for this job. The workplace is intive’s office in Warsaw, although we want some of our Developers to spend first 1-3 months in our client’s site in Berlin, getting to know the business and learning from current teams.
