- Experience of deploying and operating enterprise scale Lync platforms
- Knowledge and experience of integration with voice systems - e.g. Avaya ACME packets
- Experience in configuration of voice routing, dial plans and SIP trunks
- Demonstrate experience with Exchange Unified Messaging
- Experience of Lync monitoring tools and Synthetic Transactions
- IT Operations experience (Change Management, Problem and Incident Management)
- Deep understanding of underlying Lync components such as: Routing Groups, Windows Fabric, SQL mirroring, Pool Pairing and Backup Service
- Providing tier 2/3 support for Lync escalations
- Evolving and deployment of monitoring and instrumentation tools for Lync
- Capacity and performance management
- Review CDR and QoE reports to manage service quality and end user experience
- Managing health of Lync eco system (network, SQL and desktop client)
- Managing integration of Lync with Exchange (Unified Messaging)
- Managing Lync integration with Video Conferencing platform (Cisco)
- Training and packaging of support functions and tasks for level 0 and level 1 teams
