We are looking for a creative DevOps to be a key member of a small, skilled, results-oriented team of product developers. This is a hands-on role, including debugging code, testing, and deploying the finished apps and libraries.

What you will do

You will be a part of large database migration project
You will have an active role in designing and implementing the migration scenarios including databases design, infrastructure design, transition scenarios
You will develop the migration and data support tools
You will build the tools to make sure the high level of data quality is met
You will build the deployment pipelines and monitoring tools for the existing and future web applications
You will support and promote continuous delivery and continuous integration scenario across development teams

What you should know

Practical knowledge of RDBMs systems including PostgreSQL (must have), Oracle, MySQL and others.
Excellence knowledge of SQL and relation databases design principles
Strong Unix/Linux background
Understanding of load balancers, VPN, DNS, IPTables
Knowledge of cloud platforms – mainly AWS suite
Practical knowledge of modern configuration management tools
Practical knowledge of modern databases and web applications monitoring tools
Experience with Docker and CircleCI
Excellent English – written and spoken
Independent and proactive approach
Able to lead the project through all the phases until the final delivery

It will be also nice if you have:

Practical experience with databases performance analysis (Postgres, Oracle)
Practical experience with continuous delivery and continuous integration tools
Some experience with data analysis, business intelligence, ETL
Some experience with NoSQL storage engines
