About the job:

We are looking for an engineer who will be a part of the hardware team. You will have two types of responsibilities: troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as well as being the main contact to our partners/clients. If you have good engineering competences and excellent communication skills you will be more than satisfied with this role.

The most important thing is that we are a dynamic startup so it is really interesting job without any redundant procedures.

 Responsibilities:
  • identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues - identification, replication in a lab environment and workarounds preparation
  • own technical issues - maintain and continuously improve the process
  • build and maintain good customer relations
  • write product-related documentation
  • cooperate with product and development teams
  • communicate suggested product improvements to development teams
Essential job requirements:
  • strong knowledge and experience in Technical Support Services and customer interface
  • degree in computer science - electronic engineering or equivalent
  • solid experience with electronic equipments,e.g. multimeter, oscilloscope, generator
  • experience and understanding of embedded systems (lighting, control, etc)
  • ability to solve problems with strong analytical skills
  • excellent communication skills; verbal and written English - ability to effectively communicate technical information
  • strong writing and documentation skills  - case management, knowledge capture, defect management and trainings
  • ability to provide product training, recommend improvements to products and processes
  • highly motivated and self-driven - must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • good organizational skills - the position requires to prioritize workload and manage customer commitments
  • strong teamwork and collaboration skills - our team relies on each engineer to communicate and collaborate often
Nice to have:
  • solid experience with Protocol Analyzer Tools
  • experience in the field of embedded lighting systems
  • knowledge of diagnostics, fault tracing and preventive maintenance techniques commonly used in embedded systems would be an advantage.
  • experience in the IoT domain would be a plus
