Zapraszamy na pierwszy w Krakowie warsztat dla facylitatorów gry symulacyjnej ScrumTale. Celem gry będzie napisanie (pod dużą presją czasu) bestselerowej opowieści kryminalnej. Zespoły będą pracować w Scrumie, zwinnie planować, reagować na zmieniające się wymagania klienta oraz iteracyjnie dostarczać produkt.

Uczestnicy zostaną podzieleni na dwa zespoły, które będą starały się w trakcie trzech iteracji zrealizować oczekiwania wydawcy. Czy w przeciągu 42 minut, jakie zostaną poświęcone na pisanie, uda się zespołowo stworzyć wciągające, zaskakujące i gotowe do druku opowiadanie kryminalne?

Warsztat doskonale symuluje codzienne sytuacje: zmieniające się wymagania, konieczność szybkiego dostarczania wartości biznesowej, problemy z jakością produktu, potrzebę szybkiego podejmowania decyzji.

Pierwszeństwo będą miały osoby, które aktywnie szkolą i będą mogły wykorzystać ScrumTale w pracy warsztatowej z zespołami. Informacja z potwierdzeniem uczestnictwa zostanie wysłana do dnia 25 lutego.

Ostatecznym potwierdzeniem udziału będzie wpłata (do 27 lutego) 80zł na pokrycie kosztów podróży prowadzącego warsztat i cateringu.

Każdy z uczestników otrzyma dypom „Certified ScrumTale Facilitator” oraz rabat 15% na zakup gry (ważny do końca marca).

ScrumTale – The Scrum Simulation Game

ScrumTale is designed to teach the Scrum framework. It improves learning experience by simulating Agile product delivery while experiencing all Agile principles. This game is a perfect aid to practice all the elements of the Scrum framework: roles, events and artifacts.

The players simulate Scrum teams writing a crime story simultaneously using Google Docs. Collaborative story writing is very similar to software production: you need to be creative and act as a team to deliver a product. You will also experience challenges with integration, quality and tools that are present during software development without the need of having a technical background. You can observe the mechanics of the Scrum during the stormy process of story writing.

Game overview

The workshop participants will be split into two teams and each person will be assigned with a Scrum role: Developer, Scrum Master, Product Owner or Chief Product Owner. The goal for each team will be to write the greatest crime tale ever using the Scrum framework. The product delivery will be split into three sprints. Within each sprint, the players will practice Scrum events: sprint planning, sprint review and retrospective.

The product of the game is a Book. The Book consists of two Tales that are written by the Development Teams. Each Tale describes a different murder but all of them are linked together – both - by the Detective’s character - and by the common style.

Apart from getting to know Scrum framework, ScrumTale allows you to practice the following Agile aspects:
