Sesja #1

Long story short, this session will tell you a story about the project we've recently launched for our customer. It's going to cover examples of AWS Step Functions usage with parallel Lambda functions invocations. We will also talk about Lambda layers, Python decorators and ideas we came up with to totally abstract AWS for the development team which prepares new translation algorithms. The session is mainly a technical one but we'll mention about business aspects as well.

Sesja #2

A short story explaining why doing Dev+Ops well is so important. You will take away some lessons learned from introducing EKS in one project (as a background). In the meanwhile, we will come through interesting details of the implementation using Terraform.

Prelegenci

Karol Junde is a CTO and Co-Founder of Chaos Gears. He believes that cloud technology, in general, is a main booster for the innovation. Majority of his daily time he spends on AWS serverless projects and gaps that are able to be automated. A strong enthusiast of KISS approach and like to see "what's behind the wall" but he hates bullshit and lack of willingness to discover new things.

Hubert Puacz is an ordinary engineer fascinated with AWS clusters and tasks automation (even in private life). After hours I studying deeply the DevOps approach and motivate others to closer cooperation.
