• Fabian Wiktorowski: Data Management -- data processing, especially data cleansing, data lifecycle

During the session, Fabian will show our approach to metadata, what we do understand by metadata, why we gather and process metadata and where it is not so easy. What consequences, challenges, success stories and failures worth to learn from. All based on a living system example!

Fabian works in Roche for the last 9 years, all time in BI with focus on Data Quality, Data Architecture, and Data Integration topics. Few large projects in Safety, Regulatory, and Bioinformatics area. He has some old, outdated certificates and learning business and new technologies all the time. Now focus on closer cooperation with business on data modeling and data pipelines.

• Łukasz Wieniatowski: Data Quality

During the presentation, you will have a chance to get familiar with Data Quality concept along with the process approach. This presentation will cover data quality theory like data profiling, cleansing. Why Data Quality is important.

How data quality initiative can be introduced in the organization. Dimensions of Data Quality and what roles and responsibilities are required to conduct that initiative.

Łukasz works in Roche for last 11 years mainly within the backend area taking many roles like a developer, designer, technology lead. Currently, he is a technology lead in a project aiming at delivering Integration Layer for Clinical data. His areas of interest embrace Data Integration, Data Quality, Master data management.
