OMGKRK Academy has the aim of highlighting and catalyzing “Inspiring Entrepreneurship’ in Krakow by bringing diverse audiences into close contact with positive examples in the community to learn together from shared experiences, especially in the fields of technology and startups.

In our second event, omgkrk Academy will explore and engage with two of the most impactful technologies emerging today: Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality.

Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality will both revolutionize the business world and the way in which we live our lives.

Yet the big question is: How?

The evening will feature two keynote speeches by highly qualified professionals working in these fields in Krakow who in the TEDx style will “Forecast The Future.”

• Artificial Intelligence: Risks And Opportunities (20 mins)

Vladimir Alekseichenko is Founder and Trainer at Data Workshop where he explains how to use a machine learning in a real life without theoretical complications. In addition, he hosts a regular podcast on Artifical Intelligence titled "Biznes Myśli." He has worked in different areas of IT for the last 10 years having been involved in building infrastructure for search engines and other Big Data projects. Currently, he works as an Architect at General Electric.

• The World In 2025: A Story On How Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality And Mixed Reality Will Redefine Our Professional And Social Lives (20mins)

Most individuals have heard something about virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR). Currently, these technologies are often associated with gaming and entertainment. Yet Justyna Janicka, the co-founder, COO, product owner and project manager of 1000 realities is creating much broader applications of VR, AR and MR and loves to say that she ‘designs realities made-to-order.’ 1000 realities is a software studio focused on VR and AR designing and creating fully immersive, realistic and interactive worlds that are rendered in real-time. In her presentation, she will tell a story predicting the applications of these extremely powerful technologies and how they will likely transform business, entrepreneurship, commerce, and socialization.

After the speeches, we will have a conversation with both our speakers with questions and comments from the audience.
