Good Reason to Code!
Social Impact Hackathon is the first such event in Podlasie. This is an event for programmers who want to engage in finding modern solutions to crucial social problems. The goal of the hackathon is to create a demo version of the application that will be effectively used by nonprofit organizations and their beneficiaries. Before the hackathon we started working on ideas with social sector organizations, using the Design-Thinking method and posted them on the forum Code for Poland https://forum.kodujdlapolski.pl/c/bialystok/social-impact-hackathon-bialystok-2017 to consult them with the broad IT community. After the hackathon in June, we intend to continue our work at Bialystok hacknights to create the final versions of those applications.
