Hello everyone!
It’s a pity our great Warsaw community hasn’t had the opportunity to meet & discuss various topics related to React Native.
This needs to be changed. Let’s meet on November 4 at Meta Przestrzeń!
It doesn’t matter if you’re a React Native veteran or beginner - visit us for great networking and an experience exchange opportunity! Free beers & pizza included!
Abstracts & bios:
- “Reassure - Performance regression monitoring tool” - Łukasz Chludziński
Do you like squeezing performance improvements out of your React components?
Do you obsessively count and recount the number of renders?
Are your colleagues driving you crazy when they submit a broken PR to your meticulously optimized state-of-the-art functionality?
ReAssure can help with that.
Łukasz is a React Native developer, expert, and mentor at Callstack; also a podcast host at The React Native Show Podcast and DevSpresso JS News Podcast.
- “Migrating existing libraries to the New Architecture” - Sebastian Sztemberg
The React Native community faces a major challenge: in order for the migration to the new architecture to make sense, all libraries used in projects must be adapted to it. With the current number of libraries, this seems to be a very tedious task and a long way off.
At the presentation, I will introduce you to the topic, how to start migrating existing libraries and what problems you may encounter.
Sebastian is a Mobile Tech Lead at Iterators and has been working with React Native since its beginning in the fall of 2015.
