"Xamarin to .NET MAUI: Hands-on migration experience"

Since Xamarin is almost dead, it's time to switch to the successor technology, .NET MAUI. On one hand, Microsoft promises a smooth transition. But is it actually smooth in the real world? In this presentation, I'm going to share my experience of migrating the libraries/framework and a mobile application to .NET 7 MAUI. This presentation will be beneficial for those who want to know more about what's going on in the .NET universe, and for developers who are interested in migrating real-world applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI.

Aleksei Starkov

Aleksei has been creating software since 2012. Since 2017 he has been specializing in .NET Xamarin and MAUI by participating in various projects and working for product companies of different sizes. Aleksei is the author of the "Learning .NET MAUI", a comprehensive real-world-oriented step-by-step guide for cross-platform GUI app development.

Beyond software development and writing, Aleksei is a passionate motorcycle rider and an amateur Moto Gymkhana athlete

"NBomber - Load test any system with a Distributed Cluster"

Nowadays, Load testing is a must-have attribute for system quality. It helps you catch performance degradation, system overload, etc., in the early stages. In addition, it's an essential tool in your toolbox for executing POC for new technologies, architectures, defining SLA, etc.

The main reason behind NBomber is to provide a lightweight framework with a simple API to cover any system regardless of a protocol (HTTP/WebSockets/AMQP etc.) or a semantic model (Pull/Push). With it, you test HTTP, WebSockets, gRPC, GraphQL, any database, message broker, or any combination of such systems with a rich microservice topology.

During the session, we will learn the following:

- NBomber architecture

- Load testing microservices (HTTP, WebSockets)

- Load testing with NBomber Cluster
