Krystian Balwierz - JWT – commonly used method to build token-based security

There is plenty of security mechanisms around webservices. JWT seems to be light, open-source, available in different languages, frameworks, and platforms. Is it secure, bulletproof and lightweight? The presentation will be an introduction to JWT and security methods which use such tokens. We will see also some real-life examples from the market.

Sergio Puas Candia - Containers 101 

How many times do we hear this phrase when deploying our code in QA or Production: “But it works on my machine!”?  How many times do you spend too much time configuring your environment, installing libraries, etc.? This presentation is for you! The presentation will be an introduction to containers, focusing on one of the most popular tools lately - Docker. We will see how to run a simple infrastructure based on containers, using a REST API connecting to a database, and a reverse proxy as an example.

DynamoDB is one of the most popular cloud databases, offered by AWS.The idea behind this talk is to show what actually DynamoDB is, and how it can be used. It offers almost infinite scalability and other concepts which can be used when making architectural decisions for new or existing projects.
