IS Service Owner

As an Information Systems Service Owner/ Manager you will work with key global systems supporting ABB Legal Function. In this role you will be responsible for stakeholder management and end-to-end IS Service delivery, including strategic and tactical planning, budget management, solution development and maintenance. You will lead a delivery and operational team, composed of internal employees and vendors, ensuring appropriate capacity and capabilities required to deliver top quality solutions to our internal customers.

Your responsibilities

 
  • Building a roadmap and own end-to end service lifecycle and making sure it’s aligned with the target architecture roadmap.
  • Establishing relationship with multiple business partners and stakeholders and understanding their strategical, operational and tactical needs.
  • Monitoring delivery of services to ensure that it meets business expectations and agreed schedules.
  • Proposing and delivering actions required to improve the overall quality of the service. Reviewing the outcome of the work provided by external partners.
  • Managing communication to stakeholders, including required change management, updates regarding service lifecycle and KPI’s reporting.
  • Maintaining financial control and distribution, keeping cost within budget and being accountable for all required compliance metrics for your service area.
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining the framework to deliver the services in scope in time, budget and in line with the customer’s expectations.
 

Your background

 
  • 8-10 years of experience in Information Systems delivery roles, including managing global applications or services.
  • Sound knowledge of Information Systems development and operations skills combined with deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of ITIL.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional, virtual and international teams.
  • Experience in leading Information Systems vendors.
  • A collaborative, solution- and customer service-focused approach and strong communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
