Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) applies software engineering techniques and discipline to production operations to attack reliability and performance issues to fix them for good. SRE adds nines to our already well-engineered and highly reliable software products supporting job seekers, employers, and internal customers.
SRE is still young at Sabre Hospitality and members of this team will have the chance to influence the direction for a critical and global SRE organization. There will be ample opportunities for growth in many areas of technology, leadership, mentorship, design, and more.
Responsibilities:
• Work under general supervision with limited direct instructions
• Follow SRE principles and collaborate with other teams to spread SRE methodology
• Build, maintain and utilize automation tools to reduce manual and repetitive tasks
• Participate in Production Incidents and support on-call SRE engineers
• Diagnose, and take corrective actions to improve stability and performance of systems running on production environment
• Strong attitude towards teamwork, knowledge sharing and documentation
Job Requirements
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience programing in one of the following languages: Java/.Net, Go, Perl, Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Experience with Cloud solutions (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• Knowledge about internet protocols (TCP/HTTP/SOAP/REST/gRPC)

• Experience with CI/CD process
• Experience with technologies used in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience in deploying, maintaining, and monitoring applications on Linux or Windows systems
• Experience in application performance analysis
• Experience with application and system monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, SolarWinds, Prometheus)
