You will join the Team that provides world-class charging systems for every vehicle and every purpose. ABB E-Mobility’s cloud software offering is closely integrated with its AC and DC Chargers. This allows us to offer more advanced remote configuration, management and diagnostic capabilities than third party charge point management systems. In order to introduce new innovations and to further reduce total cost of ownership for charge point operators, we are looking for a new team member as DevOps Lead. As the DevOps Lead you bring operation and development together and makes sure that the software can be delivered as smooth as possible with the correct quality by removing all roadblocks. As part of the DevOps team, you are at the heart of our infrastructure, and interact on a daily basis with our software development teams and operations. You develop and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, raising the automation and standardization of our development processes to the next level. You use the latest technologies and methods, enabling the team to meet high security standards and to be able to develop our products quickly and flexibly.

Your responsibilities
- Play a key role in driving innovative software solutions for our state-of-the-art EV charging platform
- Work closely with engineering management and (lead) engineers to ensure DevOps is implemented as a culture of collaboration
- Drive the strategy and roadmap of the chapter
- Lead DevOps chapter supporting our products with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability
- Collaborate with SREs and product development teams to enable us to meet reliability, security, and maintainability goals
- Contribute to documentation
Your background
- Bachelor or Master degree in informatics, computer science, industrial science or equivalent engineering
- 5+ years of experience in software development (relevant working experience) and 3+ years of experience in DevOps
- Experience with cloud providers, Microsoft Azure very much preferred
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Experience in leadership
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and an outright understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines)
- Fluency in English (speaking, reading and writing)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to propose solutions
