IS Application Specialist

The main responsibility of Application Manager is maintaining the application and providing business support. Building a strong relationship with business will ensure a fruitful benefits. Very important thing is communication and collaboration with other team members. Having solid technical specialists around will help you with achieve the goals. In this role you will be raporting to IS Application Manager.

Your responsibilities

- Ensure that application meet business objectives and fulfill end-user requirements - Be accountable for the resolution for any incident or change which has or might have a major impact on the relevant IS application - Team managing, supporting in case of problems as well as delegating tasks and assigning priorities - Build strong relationships with business representatives and support teams - Make sure that existing knowledge storage is up to date - Define and coordinate delivery of improvements to the quality of the application/service and keep it aligned with the business needs - Collaborate with other ABB IT units following IT Service Management framework - Monitor agreed SLAs

Your background

- Master degree in Computer Science or related field - Experience in managing global IT applications and working with IT Service Management concepts (ITIL) - Responsibility for an end-to-end delivery, independence, discipline, ability to work under time pressure - Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken) - Experience in Agile/Waterfall methodology - Knowledge of MyService tool and Jira products is a plus - Knowledge of SOX compliance is a plus
