ABB Information Systems (IS) delivery team for Finance domain is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to work with key global financial systems for ABB group supporting Assurance process. It is a great opportunity to participate in shaping complex environment of advanced corporate systems, cooperating with experts from all over the world in tackling challenges and driving opportunities.
Your responsibilities
- Design technical solutions for systems in Finance area
- Participate in shaping architecture of core Finance systems of ABB
- Cooperate with implementation teams and external partners to ensure high quality of delivered solutions
- Design, optimize and build integrations between data warehouses, advanced BI solutions, custom applications and modern front-end tools
- Provide technology consultation to projects using new/emerging technologies, which are key for internal and external digitalization
- Cooperate with IS Service Owner, Operations Managers, Business Analysts and delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth and stable systems performance
Your background
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as solution architect
- Minimum 8 years of experience across various IT areas (infrastructure, security, applications) with focus on Microsoft application stack (MSSQL, .NET)
- Creativity and open mind
- Experience in objectively evaluating solutions and making recommendations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential
- Scrum or general Agile knowledge and working experience
- Financial systems knowledge is a plus
