To continue the successful development of the product lines dedicated to public, fleet and heavy vehicle charging, we are looking for a new Team Leader for Software Integration and Testing.

Software is an integral element of the products and services we develop at ABB E-mobility and is represented as a horizontal organization – Digital Services and Software Platforms which creates software and platform capabilities for the business verticals as well as internal operations teams.

Within the Digital Services and Software Platforms, the Software Integration and Testing team fulfils the key role of developing the capabilities for software Integration – frameworks, processes, tools, test assets – embodying the state of the art of Continuous Integration, not just for the embedded domain but also for the Cloud Domain. This will have a huge impact on our software delivery capacity of high-quality SW Releases. Then it will also focus on continuous delivery, which necessitates a large-scale test automation with hardware in the loop, including not only lab and factory assets, but of course also assets that are already deployed in the field.

Your responsibilities

– Conceptualize the end-to-end system view and methodology for high quality CI/CD
– Analise current processes and decide on potential changes and improvements
– Hire and lead a top talented team
– Build the new state of the art CI/CD pipeline
– Develop tools and infrastructure to bring software test automation with hardware in the loop to the next level
– Alongside other operations functions, conceptualize methodologies for simplifying the software maintenance of our deployed chargers

Your background

– You hold at least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
– You have 10+ years in software development, both embedded (must have) and cloud (desirable)
– You have direct experience on software integration and system debug for complex hardware/software systems
– You have hands-on experience on software integration tools and CI/CD modern methodologies
– You speak excellent English
– You are looking for a challenge and are happy to be out of your comfort zone
– You enjoy dealing with a broad, complex problem and you don’t settle for the easy path but go for the right path
