About the role:
As one of our Backend Java Engineers, you will collaborate in one of the core and remote cross-functional mission teams responsible for the complete technical solution of a JVM enterprise-grade application to offer a consistent user experience through finding and improving solutions for both technical and business issues for the product.

Responsibilities:
You will be part of an engineering team responsible for transaction management, and how to improve code on the Data Access layer,
With a holistic approach, you need to be able to abstract and see the bigger picture from looking at the code to offer robust improvements and work on functionalities for the solution,
You’ll be an advocate and a driver for proven engineering best practices, eager to represent the team and have a voice for technology.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of production software development experience in architecturing backend for high performance, reliable Distributed Systems and services,
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing, data structures and algorithms,
Understanding of any Object-relational mapping system like Hibernate,
Experience working with Oracle database,
Strong documentation and technical writing skills,
Experience in driving product features, functional specifications, and development schedules,
Strong analytical skills and a predisposition for innovative thinking,
Good communication and collaboration skills,
Self-motivation, innovation and accountability to work in a fast-paced environment,
Proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Enterprise Objects Framework, Mac OS X/Java, WebObjects, Linux environment experience,
Some experience with Cloud and Infrastructure solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, CI/CD, AWS, etc.
