DESCRIPTION
Currently we are looking for an Application Support/Dev Support Engineer for our Krakow office to make the team even stronger.
ABOUT PROJECT
In your daily work you will become part of open source community and provide support to other community members on forums such as Stack Overflow, Sever Fault or GitHub. In this role you will troubleshoot, reproduce and debug a wide range of technical issues, respond to product related questions and help to resolve concerns of the community. You will have a chance to support products like Kubernetes, Istio and Tensorflow on bare metal as well as on major cloud platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions and APIs
- Provide technical assistance and support as part of a global 24x7-support organization
- Work closely with engineers and product managers to improve the product and make our customers successful
- Change requests and incident ticket handling for the remaining Infrastructure Teams - Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
- Provide technical and developer support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions and APIs
- Follow notification and escalation procedures
- Follow standards for communications with business involving operational issues
- Identify and document product bugs and feature requests and work with internal support teams as well as customers to implement effective solutions
- Work closely with internal support teams to improve cloud products at a senior level
- Build Web Applications/Mobile Application/Web Services/APIs
- Consume Third Party APIs
- Build Web Services
REQUIREMENTS:
- Very strong experience in any of these languages (Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Go, .NET, Ruby, NodeJS)
- Web Development knowledge (REST, SOAP, RPC, HTTP, HTTPS)
- Experience using Web Authentication (Basic, Cookies)
- Experience querying Relational Databases (MySQL, Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL)
- Networking (Load Balancer, Firewall, DNS, Forwarding Rules, NAT)
- Software Architecture Patterns (Monolith, Distributed, Microservices
