Currently we are looking for an Senior JavaScript Developer for our Krakow office to make the team even stronger. The team is creating data-driven business applications with multiple data operations, search, access controls, auditing, workflow, etc. The apps are aimed for automation of business workflows and are serving for different business needs and various business verticals, among which are HR and People Ops, Finance Ops, Construction ops, etc. Every App is a project, average project duration is 2-3 months, so you will not get bored with doing the same for ages, however you’ll need to get things done before moving on. The team consists of engineering professionals, UX expert, QA/BA expert and PGM (~around 20 people including indirect members, team is growing). RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide full-cycle web application development using Agile approach; • Communicate with the customer to clarify requirements; • Integrate other clients’ systems and applications; REQUIREMENTS: • Highly experienced in plain JavaScript; • Highly experienced in HTML and CSS; • Strong SQL skills: relational DB design, performance, stored procedures and views; • Back-end understanding & ability to create end-to-end systems; • Experience with cloud platforms; • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms; • Strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns; • Experience in unit testing is a must; • Excellent English communication skills & experience in client-facing communications; • Solid SDLC understanding and experience working in Agile environment; • Capability to work in Agile environment without direct supervision; • Understanding of: popular cloud (GAE preferred, Azure, AWS), databases, caching, load balancing, troubleshooting, NoSQL databases.
