Currently we are looking for a Scrum Master for our Gdansk office to make the team even stronger. We need a Scrum Master who can play a key role in the complex project. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Play Scrum Master role for two development teams (~5 developers each)
• Follow Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and help dev teams to follow it as well
• Work in close collaboration with RTE, other Scrum Masters of the Release train and the dev teams to resolve any cross-team dependencies
• Facilitate planning of the few sprints upfront (usually 3-4 sprints) during time-boxed PI planning meeting together with PO and dev teams (usually 2 days meeting)
• Support the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers
• Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile
• Guide and Coach the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to get the most out of self-organization
• Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity
• Remove impediments or guiding the team to remove them
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of problem-solving
• Facilitate getting the work done without assigning or dictating the work
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency
• Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining (grooming) and managing the product backlog

REQUIREMENTS:

• Be able to operate in a software delivery environment with either a deliverable focus or priority of scope focus
• Experience as Scrum Master in SAFe
• Knowledge of software design and development
• Knowledge of agile development practices, automated builds, continuous integration, code quality metrics, agile test frameworks, etc
• Proven technical and team leadership
• Delivery focused
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills
• The familiarity of Project Management in a Lean/Agile environment
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Upper-Intermediate+ level of English

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous experience with SCADA systems
• Software Engineering degree or equivalent
• Certified Scrum Master Status
• Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team
• Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc
• Familiarity with Sprint planning tools such as Jira
• Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum, including training, conferences, user groups, self study, etc
• Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban etc
• Come from a Software Engineering background
• Any other certification will be an advantage in Project management (Prince2, APMG, PMP, etc.)
