Description
GlobalLogic is looking for experienced test engineers for Home Appliance project to develop test suites, automation infrastructure, tools and fixtures to ensure we have the highest quality devices for our customers. In this role you will work with cross-functional engineering teams to identify requirements and create and execute automation test cases, in order to deliver high-quality backend services and ensure release velocity.
Responsibilities
- Develop sustainable and reliable test automation
- Collaborate with senior engineers through the entire software development lifecycle to solve complex engineering problems in tools and testing
- Own qualification, status reporting, and sign off on large-scale back-end service releases
- Manage deployments of builds to internal test servers
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues
- Develop in-depth understanding of cross-functional features, write comprehensive test plans, and execute on them
- There will be an opportunity for business travel to Client’s HQ (Palo Alto, US) for 3-4 weeks
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience testing large-scale backend service releases
- 4+ years experience in a QA, Continuous Integration, or similar role
- Experience in automation tools/programming languages (Java/Python/Jenkins)
- Strong understanding of QA terminology and best practices
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Good knowledge of English
