Javascript Developer

As a Javascript Developer, your role will focus on implementing solutions to collect data, perform early data manipulation and verification along with building APIs for our customers and our internal needs.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

• Write client-side Javascript (Webpack) for tracking purposes
• Maintain APIs in NodeJS to collect data
• Write NodeJS web scraping solutions
• Add the integration of our internal and external platforms to the existing system
• Maintain and optimize existing integrations
• Actively participate in choosing methods for solving any technological problems we encounter

The ideal candidate will be proficient in:

• Javascript / Webpack and NodeJS / Typescript
• MySQL or PostgreSQL (including query optimization)

Other required qualifications:

• 3–4 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to write modular and testable code
• Experience with Unit tests
• Experience with Linux
• Communicative spoken and written English

We’d also love to see, but don’t require experience with:

• Python
• Kubernetes / Docker
• Jenkins/Gitlab CI
• NoSQL
• Redis
• NestJS
• Knowledge of browser security policies (CSP, CORS etc.)
