Senior Java Software Engineer
Our agile Profiles team is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining customer focused products that enable richer traveler experience. We develop products such as: Agency Profiles, Customer Insight, Customer Experience Manager and Customer Data Hub.
Team believes in Definition of Done including full automation of functional tests, unit test coverage and code review. We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team and take a role of Senior Software Engineer.
• Designing, coding, debugging and testing
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting in problem solving in both development and production environments
• Cooperating with other development teams to deliver new capabilities
• Innovating to improve application stability and performance
• Ensuring development processes and standards are followed
• Learning business requirements and translating them into implementation details
• Giving direction on tools and technology used as well as refactoring areas
Job Requirements
• 4+ years of professional experience as Java developer
• Expertise in: Java, Web services (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST),
• Expertise in development and CI tools
• Solid Unix/Linux knowledge
• Deep understanding of software development processes, tools and methodologies
• Solid experience derived from working in an agile development environment
• Good communication skills in English, written and verbal
• Good teamwork skills
• GCP/Cloud technologies experience
