Job Description
The HTTP Gateway is a reverse proxy server for Web Services hosted in the TPF environment. It is based on the Spring Cloud Gateway framework with custom developed filters for Sabre specific business logic. It is not intended for direct user access.
HTTP Gateway (HGW) supports Web Service requests into TPF for Host Preference/Host Affinity. This is routing a Rest Web Service request to a specified TPF processor. In addition to host-based routing, HGW can also support message throttling and security token validations. Due to the flexibility of the Spring Cloud Gateway platform, flexible routing configurations can be setup to support custom routing based on HTTP Header attributes.
• Working collectively with other teams and individuals (software and system engineers) in deploying, maintaining, testing and debugging moderately complex software solutions or making enhancements to existing software (including migration to GCP cloud)
• Working closely with teams to understand issues in the software and help to resolve them
• Apply best industry engineering, design and security practices
• Planning and execution of traffic migrations of legacy platforms
• Working with suppliers to obtain necessary details to perform the setup
• Troubleshooting connectivity/performance/capacity issues
• Preparation of software design and documentation
• Creating auxiliary tools to help with system automation, monitoring and testing
• Planning and execution of migration products to other data centers and GCP cloud
• Performs on-call duties
Job Requirements
We welcome multiple levels of experience from the applicants (from Associate up to Senior) and we count on some of professional experience as Software Developer/Engineer or DevOps in the past (including internships).
During technical interview we will for sure touch on some of the following topics:

• Ability to work in distributed teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously (no worries, to a reasonable level)
• Cloud solutions and architecture (GCP, AWS)

• Familiarity with messaging solutions (ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, PubSub)
• Experience with source control and system automation frameworks (git, ansible, Jenkins)
