The OCA team delivers two valuable products to Schibsted’s Norwegian media houses. The first is obituaries, which is both the primary digital subscription trigger as well as a significant revenue generator. The second is a display advertising platform allowing for a variety of formats and filtering options – all connected to classified marketplace APIs. In combination, these products generate significant income and are a key value proposition to our users. Our team is small which gives us a lot of freedom in picking technologies and architecture of the solution and time to experiment with cool new solutions. In our daily job we use Java 8, including Spring 4 with Springboot, Hibernate &  Hateoas, MYSQL, Javascript, Backbone, AWS, GoCD. As a candidate for this position, you are not expected to have experience with all the tools listed above. We feel that with the right mindset all the tools can be learned on the job and through close collaboration. Instead we do want you to hear about your experience.
