Project
You will join telenor|digital DOB team (Direct Operator Billing), part of Telenor group. The company, among other products, builds mobile payments solutions in the DOB model. The payment solution supports a large portfolio of partners like Microsoft, Apple, Spotify and others.
You will
- Play a key role in setting up the technical team in Kraków
- Work on the mobile payments solution used by millions of users
- Solve challenging issues related to payments flows, payment transactions, payments security and scalability
- Add and prototype new, innovative features related to payment APIs
- Cooperate with other telenor|digital units on data analysis, infrastructure, end users support and product roadmaps
- Travel between main offices located in Oslo, Trondheim and Kraków
Must have
- Knowledge of and experience with distributed systems, their architecture and design methods designed to support data processing components
- Ability to understand and document technical and business requirements in the payments area
- Excellent knowledge of Java programming language (we use version 13)
- Knowledge of JavaScript programming language (we use vue framework)
- Knowledge of REST architectural style
Nice to have
- Experience in building on top of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Relational and NoSQL databases ( PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB)
- Some knowledge of Docker, Nomad and Terraform tools
- Some knowledge of vue.js framework
- SMPP protocol
