Bitcoin Basics: An Interactive Discussion
A bit coin-fused?
Join us on the 17th of October for an interactive discussion about the unchanging fundamentals of Bitcoin, how it started, how it works, what makes it money and the thriving ecosystem around it. Yes, Bitcoin is still chugging along!
This will be a great occasion for people who are new to Bitcoin to get some new insights and have their questions answered. As a part of the discussion, we will show you how to download a Bitcoin wallet, and we will give you some funds for free so you can take part in Bitcoin history with your first transactions.
Dominique Frances is a founding member and former director of the Bitcoin Association in Hong Kong (http://bitcoin.org.hk). Having been following Bitcoin since 2013, she eventually helped host Bitcoin meet-ups and organize conferences in Hong Kong and globally, assisted with OTC cryptocurrency trading and give Bitcoin lectures in the community front. She recently translated the Bitcoin core local files to her native language and actively explores Bitcoin projects of interest.
We look forward to welcoming her and all of you at Cafe Szafe Thursday 17th of October. See you!
The Kraków Bitcoin Meetup is an initiative for Bitcoin enthusiasts in the city of Kraków, Poland, organized by BitSpace. The event is held frequently and aims to connect the brightest local crypto minds together. It also aims to provide educational value through presentations and workshops for people who want to learn more about Bitcoin. Even though this event is primarily about Bitcoin, you are of course permitted to mention other cryptocurrencies :)
The events are free of charge, and there are no knowledge requirements for you to participate. Come and learn!
Please invite other people who might be interested in attending.
PS.
If you have something to share or announce with the meetup, give a heads up and the stage is yours. Anything that might be valuable for a local crowd of bitcoiners is very welcome.
Additionally, we're always looking for interesting speakers to talk at the meetups. If you or someone you know have/has insightful things to say on a Bitcoin-related topic, don't hesitate to discuss it with me, and we will schedule a talk.
