1st talk: Real world timeseries forecasting
Should you use deep learning for timeseries forecasting? It depends -,- We'll make an overview of old & new methods (Amazon, Uber) applied to real world data. It's also important to watch for rookie mistakes & ways to avoid them.
About the speaker: Krzysiek Styrc is a Software Engineer @ Unit8, a startup that does AI/ML projects for customers from interesting industries. His solid software engineering and growing ML skills help him to create innovative solutions that work for real-life cases - without hype. In his free time, he enjoys taking part in hackathons and catching up on the progress in ML & distributed systems.
2nd talk: AI meets privacy
What security means in the context of AI solution? What is explainable ML? Might neural net be stolen? How adversarial examples may fool neural net? Is it safe to expose API for online training?
The presentation will cover current problems from the area where AI meets privacy. It will cover common concerns and available solutions.
About the speaker: Weronika is a Data Scientist working at Unit8, a startup solving many companies problems using Big Data and AI. She is driving the digital transformations by turning customers data into working systems. Curious by nature she is excited to find real-world rules by exploring datasets.
