To strengthen our IS Finance Domain Delivery team we are looking for the IT System and Database Administrators Lead (Finance) who has prior experience in general administration and operations tasks including operating systems, applications and databases. Interest in understanding financial processes can open additional career options. We are currently looking for candidates for the position of IT System and Database Administrators Lead (Finance). The core responsibilities of the IT System and Database Administrators Lead are:

• Applications / systems monitoring and administration, plus systems documentation maintenance
• Roll-out of software patches, bug fixes and releases to different environments (Dev, Stage, Production), suggest implementation plan and run technical upgrades, assess the impact of changes and related risk; including keeping systems IS security on a level required by corporate guidelines
• Troubleshooting and solving technical problems
• Participation in multi-vendors, cross-departments applications onboardingupgrade projects and datacenter migrations for servers, databases and applications
• Participation in design and implementation of production systems including DR/HA solutions for Finance applications
• Continuous improvement of existing solutions to increase their stability, availability and performance
• Technical consultancy for application and development teams as well for business to improve their work and help them understand technical solutions, potential problems and risks
• Communication with system vendors, external service providers and consultants
• Proactive cooperation with Application Managers on systems maintenance and release planning and deployment
• Plan and manage skills, competency and capacity required for the supported systems landscape
• Manage patching calendar,
• Manage cooperation with the hosting teams.
• Co-responsibility for PDAs (performance review, target settings)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT environment with focus on operations
• Solid knowledge in MS Windows Server 2008-2012 (Clustering, IIS) and in MS SQL Server 2012-2016 (administration, maintenance, installations, upgrades, tuning and optimization, DR/HA solutions)
• Knowledge of TSQL that allow query analyzing and troubleshooting
• Knowledge in Microsoft DW/BI technologies will be benefit (SSAS, SSIS. SSRS) – installation, administration, tuning, troubleshooting. Experience in building SSRS reports is nice-to-have
• Knowledge in one of the task scripting tools or frameworks (e.g. PowerShell)
• Basic knowledge in one of monitoring solutions is nice-to-have (Nagios/Microsoft SCOM)
• Experience in operating finance applications (Oracle EPM/Longview) or knowledge in related processes is of big benefit
• Communicative, very good written and spoken English
