**1. Indexes in PostgreSQL** During this presentation we'll discuss a variety of indexes in RDBMSes, setting our focus in PostgreSQL in details. We'll cover their capabilities, when to use them and how do they work, down to their representation on the hard drive.

**2. Async/await vs. reader/writer lock** In this presentation we'll cover common issues preventing us from using mutexes and locks in async/await code used in .NET. We'll see how to design our own ReaderWriterLock, that will comply with a behavior of .NET ThreadPool without blocking its threads and how to make use of hardware intristics to build more complex data structures.

**3. Scalling connections in peer-to-peer apps** This is the presentation about scalling the message exchnage across large number of devices with relativelly weak hardware i.e. hundreds of mobile apps cooperating without a central server. How to ensure proper communication in situation when connecting everyone to everyone else is too expensive or impossible and how to respect limited network capabilities.
