Bayer is expanding its global digital and IT footprint, starting with a Digital Hub in Warsaw! The initial focus of the Hub will be the delivery of digital transformation projects within Crop Science where Bayer is using its unique position as an agricultural leader to deliver innovation that helps farmers grow more sustainably and responsibly. To accomplish this, the Hub will host a variety of talent, including Software Engineers, Full Stack Engineers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists with expertise in machine learning, AI and Operations Research and cyber security experts.
Bayer was so impressed with world-class talent in Poland, it was a no-brainer to start with, well, YOU! The talented developer community from Warsaw, from Poland, from Central Eastern Europe! While Bayer has been a fixture in Poland and CEE for decades, it’s presence as an IT leader is new. To showcase the exciting digitization happening throughout the company, globally, we are hosting this hackathon.
Participants will work on specific digital challenges around new solutions for health and nutrition. Our goal is to get to know the digital talent in Poland and neighboring countries and give them a chance to better know us and the exciting topics and technologies we are tackling. Our vision is “Health for all, Hunger for none”. Everything we do at Bayer should bring us closer to this vision and we hope the digital talent in Central Europe find it as inspiring as we do.
