DIY Workshop: How to build a sound detection system on Raspberry Pi using Python
Have you ever wanted to build your own Alexa, a virtual assistant that would listen to your commands and then execute them?
If your answer is yes, then you should join us for a DIY workshop where you will learn how to build a sound detection system on a Raspberry Pi using Python. Not only will this allow you to make the first step towards building your own virtual assistant, but the workshop will also equip you with knowledge on:
- how the Internet of Things (IoT) works
- how to set up a sound sensor with the Raspberry Pi
- how to write and run Python on the Raspberry Pi
The workshop will be held by Laura Żuchowska, dyvenia’s Data Platform Engineer / Team Lead.
So if you wish to learn new skills and technologies while having fun, join us on October 22 at our office in Equal Business Park in Krakow (Wielicka 28B). We will start at 3 pm and expect the hackathon to take 3 hours.
As we’d like to ensure that your beginnings with Raspberry Pi are as easy as pie, we are limiting the number of attendees to 20 people. The event is free of charge, but we kindly ask you to confirm your attendance.
