Rafael Lopes: What is new in Go 1.21
Let’s take a look at Go 1.21 release notes and see some of the interesting features, including: new shiny packages, language changes and toolchain compatibility changes.
Krzysztof Dryś: profile-guided optimization:
Profile-guided optimization (PGO) is a new feature of Go's compiler. When build a binary, you can feed compiler with a profile (as in runtime/pprof) from an live system. This should yield you a binary optimised for you use case. We will play a little with this feature and see how much we can get out of it.
