Hatch Conference 2024

Hatch Conference is a multi-track summit with content crafted for experienced designers to stay up to date, and meet others in similar states of their career.

This year's theme is BEYOND THE STANDARD

For the last five years, there’s been a feeling that digital products had settled. Most websites, apps and services look and feel the same. While those lovers of the craft complain that “design is dead” and “designers are vanishing”, others argue that spending less time arguing about an interface, is valuable time to be used in strategy and getting products to truly help.

But does it need to be binary?

We see multiple examples of teams implementing best practices with a twist, challenging the status quo without needing to claim total anarchy. The interface as we know it might not be there for long. The tools and processes we use are all rapidly changing, and so are our roles. So we invite those with good ideas and even better executions to come present their proposal to build the next batch of digital products.
