JUnit 5 has been published ~2.5 years ago. It has brought many new features and embedded solutions for problems which had been requiring additional libraries and its development has been led by the community. The code of the framework has been implemented from 0 with a goal of high extensibility in mind and multiple additions have been created already.

Since the latest stable release of JUnit 4 comes from 2014 and JUnit 5 is new and shiny why are you still not using it?
