Meetup description:
The Nethermind team will share three stories of Ethereum. They will cover the past and introduce you to the idea of the Ethereum blockchain, the use cases, the architecture, the network. They will talk about the current issues Ethereum is facing and go through the solutions - Istanbul upgrade, Ethereum 1.x and the state rent. Finally they will talk about the future - Ethereum 2.0, web assembly, sharding, beacon chains.
About Nethermind
Nethermind is an open source Ethereum mainnet and testnet client. It allows setting private blockchains using cross-platform .NET Core technology.
Nethermind project is the Ethereum Foundation grant recipient.
