Podczas kolejnego spotkania Crypto@Cracow #11 - "Blockchain Enterprise", dowiemy się, czy i jak technologia Blockchain jest używana, przez duże korporacje, takie jak IBM oraz bank inwestycyjny BBH (Brown Brothers Harriman).

Plan spotkania:

• Prezentacja "Realne zastosowania Blockchain w biznesie", prowadzona przez Karolinę Marzantowicz, z IBM. (18:00-19:30)

Poruszone zostaną poniższe pytania:

• Jak duże korporacje postrzegają Blockchain?
• W jakich gałęziach gospodarki, zastosowanie tej technologii może mieć największy efekt?
• W jaki sposób następuje adopcja technologii?
• Czy duże firmy faktycznie jej używają, czy tylko o niej mówią?

• Prezentacja o projekcie Fundchain, prowadzona przez Roberta Florczyka, SVP, przedstawiciela banku Brown Brothers Harriman. (18:00-19:30)

Wykład będzie miał na celu przybliżenie wizji projektu Fundchain i możliwych zastosowaniach tej technologii.

Zostanie również omówiony temat planów na przyszłość, związanych z tą branżą, którą BBH aktywnie monitoruje.

Opisy prelegentów:

Karolina Marzantowicz bridges the technology, business innovation and psychology worlds. She acts as technical leader and a catalyst fostering curiosity to help lead the adaptation to rapidly changing IT environments and to drive organizational agility. With 23 years of working experience (of which 16 in IBM) Karolina has been supporting companies in driving complex digital transformations, building and executing high growth strategies, introducing emerging technologies, innovative products and services for global international brands as well as hacking growth with startups around the world. She is interested in blockchain, distributed systems and post-quantum cryptography. Karolina is a guest speaker at global focus conferences, author of many publications and books.

She is Chief Technology Officer in IBM, Central Eastern Europe.

Robert Florczyk helped Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. to grow its IT site in Krakow to over 300 employees in 3 years. Prior to joining BBH, he had worked for over 10 years with banks in Europe and Asia to deliver various technological solutions. He is focused on promoting positive workplace culture and creating more opportunities for development. Robert’s work is split between growing the company and working with the team in all areas of emerging technologies. He enjoys work with smart, positive and talented people. He holds a Master of Science from AGH University of Science and Technology and MBA from St. Gallen Business School and the Cracow University of Economics. He received executive training at MIT Sloan School of Management, Cambridge, MA. He is the member of the advisory board at the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
