In last years NoSQL databases have become a well consolidated technology, Multi-Model concept started to have some traction in the industry and most of the main first generation NoSQL databases started to offer some kind of Multi-Model API.
But what is Multi-Model actually? Is a Multi-Model API enough to say you have a real Multi-Model database?
In this session, we will introduce OrientDB, the database that invented the Multi-Model concept.
We will discuss the advantages of having a real Multi-Model database stack (from the binary formats, to the storage, to the API) and we will see how it can help you solve real business use cases.
