Presentation 1: Maciej Kurek, Data Analyst (mobile apps team) @ Brainly

Title:

Obstacle is the way – what have we learned from setting up analytics for Brainly mobile app

Description:

Google announced that is going to sunset the good old Google Analytics Services SDK and now Firebase is a must-have for your app. That was the moment when our full of learning adventure began.

We will take a look at good practices for event tracking and find out how to deal with Firebase limits. We will try to find missing users from A/B tests and get some insights from data even if you are not a BigQuery fan

Bio:

Maciej Kurek works as a data analyst at Brainly. On a daily basis he supports mobile team analysing users' behavior and developing analytical environment. He has marketing background and has been involved in digital analytics for 4 years

Presentation 2: Eliza Jeziorska, Lead Product Analyst @ AirHelp

Title: Marriage Stories: Qual and Quant Research in practice.

Description:

How? What? Why? Asking these different questions is necessary to help us get a full picture of why our customers behave the way they do and what our product can do to meet their needs. The answers to these questions lie in different kinds of data - from the quantitative to the qualitative. In this talk, I will discuss how to join both kinds, what are the advantages and problems with this solution and how to make it work best together.

Bio:

Eliza Jeziorska, Lead Product Analyst @ AirHelp

I'm an analyst that looks for connections between people and data. I work on improving customer experience through analysing and driving insights from information about website usage, user paths and a/b testing. I make sure we make business decisions based on evidence

Presentation 3: Wojciech Skalski

Title: Growth and analytics: it’s all about learning by practice

Description:

Growth marketing is all about learning. But not learning in the academic sense - through books, theory and equations. It’s learning by practice - like riding a bike or speaking a foreign language.

This kind of learning requires a slightly different approach to data analysis. It’s about putting results ahead of knowledge, accepting uncertainty (having something that drives your KPIs is very different from knowing why EXACTLY it works), talking with real users rather than diving into spreadsheets… and a few more things that we will discuss during the presentation.

Bio:

Wojtek Skalski is a seasoned growth marketing expert with 10-years of experience in scaling businesses with smart digital marketing, data analytics, and automation. He runs a boutique growth marketing agency which have helped over 50 companies - big and small - including Brainly, Business.com, Luxury Retreats (now AirBnB), Omni Calculator, Dataedo and Pomelody. A huge fan of French bulldogs, filtered coffee and 100% remote work.
