Our journey to Kubernetes

The talk will describe the migration of network controller to Kubernetes and how moving to Kubernetes allowed us to create similar environments on premise and for different cloud providers. We also gained faster deployments and self-healing. Started with lift and shift to AWS and ended up with Kubernetes on GCP.

In this talk Tomasz will speak about:

• migration to Kubernetes on GCP,
• pros and cons of the lift and shift approach,
• how to securely connect network devices to Kubernetes internal network,
• different ways of setting up a data cluster services,
• setting up on-premise infrastructure for development,
• tools used for the deployment process.
