Poznań Elixir Meetup #4

Welcome back after holidays! We plan to organize 4th Elixir meetup in Poznań! Our plan is to have three interesting presentations, but also have some time to grab a beer, meet people and talk about Elixir programming language. 

Talks: 

• "Let it crash: fault tolerance in Elixir" - Maciej Kaszubowski 

  Compared to most programming languages, Elixir (and Erlang) has a unique way of dealing with failures. Most of us probably heard about the "Let it crash" philosophy, but it can be quite confusing at the beginning. I'll talk about basic language concepts like links, monitors, supervisors and try to explain the reasoning behind this approach. Then, I'll move on the benefits of this way of handling failures, discuss common mistakes and show some practical real-life use cases.
