React Native EU Meetup x Hacktoberfest 2021

Welcome after a long break! This time we are coming back to you with a special 2 in 1 event - Discussion panel + Hackathon!

We start the event with the discussion panel in which we will talk about the topics from this year’s React Native EU conference including: Cross-platform & Architecture, App development, Developer Experience, Animation, Security, Testing and Communication.

Also, we will discuss and share our thoughts about the current status of the React Native framework. Sounds cool, doesn’t it? The panel will be attended by:

- Satyajit Sahoo - React Navigation Core Contributor

- Wojciech Kwiatek - CTO at Channels

- Paweł Trysła - lead engineer at Re.Pack

- and Łukasz Chludziński - Software Engineer at Callstack - as a host.

After the discussion panel, and short break for pizza and beer, we will move to the second part of the event - hackathon! It will be a great opportunity for you to develop your programming skills and knowledge by working on Open Source projects with the support from our experts and contributors! By taking a part in the hackathon, you will join the global Hacktoberfest initiative (https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com/) which aims to support open-source projects and the folks who run them.

First time at a hackathon? Never sent any pull request before? No worries, you are in the right place! Whether you are a beginner at Open Source or a cutting-edge contributor, Our Callstack Hacktoberfest team will support you at every stage of your journey! And all of this will take place in our lovely office in the city center, in a networking atmosphere with beer and pizza. You can’t miss it!
