Steganography, the art of information hiding, is being applied for many ages. For the most of the time techniques anchored in the material world was being developed, but recently, in the digital era, a completely new chapter with a lot of new possibilities has started. The most popular method is to hide information in digital images, but there are plenty of other applications which explore all different areas of the digital world.In the presentation we will go through the steganography history supported by examples, we will also review more modern ways of applying steganography both in digital and the material world.

For years together with his team he was developing methods and practices as well as conducting trainings in the application security domain. Now as a Domain & Security Architect at Volvo Constructions Equipment he drives different architectural agendas including applying business-driven security governance at the enterprise level. Speaker at several conferences and IT events. Senior Lecturer at University of Wroclaw for over 17 years where he conducts scientific research in the security field.
