Abstract:

I'll talk about several performance-critical mistakes I have encountered when working with data access layer. They are hard to find and debug, because they are not visible at the first sight, but not found early can cause significant performance decrease of the application. I'll discuss how to recognize, solve and prevent them. Decent knowledge of hibernate and SQL (postgres syntax mainly) is required.
